Description
BIO 0151 and BIO 0152 form a five semester hour lecture laboration course in genearl biology that focuses on three theories: cell theory, gene theory and evolution theory. This course introduces students to the principal concepts, ideas, and developments in the biological sciences in the endeavor to provide them with a sound and general basis for understanding and appreciating information, principles, and concepts related to scientific inquiry, the nature of matter and energy, cells and muliticellularity, human organs and systems, heredity, reproduction and development, the orgin and evoultion of life, the adaptive diversity of life and its relations to the environment.
