Description
This course is an introductory survey of all parts of the criminal justice system. The police, defense and prosecuting attorneys, courts, institutio corrections, community-based corrections, and the juvenile justice system will be discussed. The definition and the measurement of crime, and various efforts to explain the causes of crime are covered. This course is a prerequisite for some criminal justice courses.
