ENG 0010 is a self-paced, accelerated writing course, designed to support and prepare the student for college level writing. Reading and its integral connection to writing are covered, following a thorough review of the basics, including the parts of speech, sentences, punctuation, mechanics, spelling and commonly misused words and phrases. Paragraph and essay writing are emphasized. The incorporation of MyWritingLab offers assignments, tutorials, videos, readiness checks, diagnostics, multi-level practice exercises and support.
