Description

This course is a survey of the cognitive, emotional, physical, and social factors in human development from conception to death. Emphasis will be on the major transitions from fetal development through death. The impact of ethnic, gender, and cultural factors on development will be examined. Emphasis will be placed on understanding people at various stages of development. The course is espcially well suited for individuals interested in pursuing careers in education, health careers, and sociology.
