Description
The course Great Plays is designed to arouse and cultivate students' interest in and understanding of world drama. A sampling of notable plays from variety of eras and countries will be studied to give the students a wider knowledge base of well-known plays. The plays included will be selected primarily for their artistic greatness and historical importance. Some plays will be read silently, some alound, and some will be viewed. The students will read, interpret, discuss, report, and write about the various plays. Students will also be given opportunities to attend plays in the community.
