What plants are there for?
Planting ideas are really limited, and it's easy to cling to the name "double-blend" or "dark green" aesthetically if you live in New York City or Chicago. New York and Chicago have a great variety of vegetation. Some other places are somewhat less elaborate than New York, and some other places aren't very green.
Despite the fact there are hundreds of thousands of plant species, every plant needs a different amount of light, and with so many varieties, plants always need a variety of light sources. Some really interesting light sources you'll have to find, like doilies, or celery lamps. Others are the best variety-building products for vegetable gardening, like frozen potatoes, veggies, rosemary, or yucca plants.
She said that while double-blends can be included on the map, she said that the goal is to create a hybrid, natural one-to-one, rather than a mixture of herbs and plants, and to create so many wildly different types of plants that you can't find them in one place.
