Description

This course addresses the use of the computer as a tool for solving statistical problems of reasonable size. Students will be introduced to the varieties of statistical software packages that are currently availabe in the market. Students will be guided to use some of these software packages and will learn how to interpret outputs and draw statistically prudent inferences. Examples of software packages that students will learn to use are SPSS, SAS, MyStat, Minitab and Excel.
