This course serves a general introduction to descriptive and inferential statistics and data analysis. It covers material similar to MATH 0150 but from a more mathematically sophisticates point of view. Students intending to take further MATH courses in statistics besides MATH 0301 should take MATH 0250 instead of MATH 0150.
