Description
PHY 0301 is a general physics course which has its main emphasis on electricity and magnetism. Among the topics studied are: Coulomb's law, electric fields, electric potential, capacitance, current, resistance, magnetic fields, inductance, and electromagnetic radiation. While Physics 0301 often takes a conceptual approach to its topics, a quantitative example problems being demonstrated by the instructor and homework problems being assigned. Instructional activities consist of lectures, class discussions, demonstrations, and some use of audio-visual materials.
