Description
The course is concerned with the study of the social, political, and economic factors affecting the development and implementation of public policies. The course is constructured with three focal points or stages of policy creation: pre-policy conditions; policy design; and, policy implementation. Particular attention is given to the policy actors, their interests and values, their actions that affect the course of policy creation.
