Description
This course attempts to survey contemporary urban dilemmas and possible solutions. Issues involve: suburbanization and metropolitan fragmentation; post-industrialism and the urban economy; crime, povety, education and the state of urban schools; expanding and maintaining urban infrastructure; and the direction of national urban policy.
