Description
This course enables students to examine selected masterpieces of architecture, sculpture, painting, and other forms of visual art against the background of ideas, values, and cultures existing at the time these works were created. Students search for unity within the various historical periods for the purpose of defining styles, developing theories, and engainging in art criticism.
