Description
This course covers the fundamental principles and concepts of law relative to business activity. The design is to provide the legal principles and concepts related to Corporate, Public/Privately Owned, Small and Minority/Women-Owned Business. Students will explore the orgin of law, the classification of law, courts and procedures, torts, contracts, criminal law, negotiable instruments, secured transactions, bankruptcy law, employment law and employment discrimination, anti-trust law, real property law, environmental law and the impact of the internet and technology on the law and other related topics.
