Description
The development of creativity in young children focuses on play as an integral part of the child's learning. Methods and curriculum to foster creativity and movement will be explored using of a variety of strategies to encourge children's physical, emotional, aesthetic, and cognitive diversity in developmentally appropriate settings. Experiences involving teaching in early childhood settings includes creation of developmentally appropriate activities. This course includes a 15 clock hour practicum in early childhood settings (5 hrs. Pre-K, 10 hrs K-3).
