This courses is a survey of urban forms and functions from a geographic perspective. This is a study of urban landscapes as exemplified by the world's premier cities. The course reviews urban physical environment, orgin and growth of cities, metropolitan influence, urban development, growth management, and high technology with a better understanding of trends and the future form of cities.
