Description
This course introduces students to western and non-western systems of governance, political structures and institutions. It also provides frameworks for understanding the cultures of the world that are the basis for formal economic and political institutions as well as the role of informal mechanisms that exist in other parts of the world that societies utilize to structure their polities.
