Description
The purpose of this course is to acquaint students to the study of the city. Topics to be covered include the role of the city in human history, methods and approaches for studying the city, the impact of ubanization on contemporary society, the relationship between globalization and urbanization, the changing form of the city, current uban policy and an overview of urban design and urban planning.
