Attendance Standards

Your success is important to us, and that starts with attendance.  Your ability to receive financial aid, your grades, and your retention status all depend on class attendance, so it is important that you understand the policies for attendance.  CLICK HERE TO REVIEW THE ATTENDANCE STANDARD

Also, be sure to start your semester off right by checking your access to all the online tools you will be using, you can access instructions below:

STUDENTS NOTE: Harris-Stowe State University uses eLearning as its online learning platform which is integrated with MYHSSU.  When you are logged into MYHSSU, you are also logged into eLearning.  All of your instructors will use eLearning to take attendance and post grades.  Many of your instructors will use eLearning more extensively and may post course assignments, handouts, links, discussions, and tests.

To access your courses, expand My Courses under Quick Links (to the left) or click on the My Courses tab above.
Need help with eLearning or email? Call the IT Helpdesk at (314) 340-3327 or email studentsupport@hssu.edu.
